Dr Jimmy Chan

Dr Jimmy Chan completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide — one of Australia's most respected dental schools — before spending three years in general practice developing his clinical foundations. It was during this time that his interest in the diagnosis and management of complex pulpal and periapical disease deepened, leading him to return to the University of Adelaide to undertake specialist training. He completed his Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Endodontics at Adelaide, the same institution where he trained as an undergraduate, and subsequently obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in Endodontics — MRACDS (Endo).

Dr Chan has published multiple papers in peer-reviewed endodontic and dental journals, contributing to the clinical evidence base that informs contemporary specialist practice. Beyond his research, he is a committed educator and regularly delivers continuing professional development lectures to general dental practitioners both locally in Sydney and at international forums. His teaching covers advances in endodontic technique, diagnosis, and the integration of modern technology — including CBCT imaging and operating microscope use — into everyday clinical decision-making.
